Mounting the stabilizer bar on the rear suspension
1 - connecting rod; 2 - nut, 42-48 Nm; 3 - bolt, 32-43 Nm; 4 - mounting clamp; 5 - rubber bushing; 6 - nut, 32-43 Nm; 7 - mounting bracket; 8 - bolt, 32-43 Nm; 9 - stabilizer bar; 10 - mounting bracket; 11 - bolt; 12 - bolt; 13 - nut
Removal and installation of the anti-roll bar can be made on the basis of the illustration above. The stabilizer is fixed to the suspension strut mount by means of a connecting rod with two ball pins, and on the bottom with clamps and rubber bushings. Place the rear of the vehicle on jack stands to access all of the mountings.
When removing, watch the location of the rubber bushings. They have a slot that must face up after installation. Before tightening the connecting rod ball joint nuts, the joints must be aligned at right angles to the rod. Only in this position tighten the nuts with a force of 42-48 Nm. Lower the vehicle to the ground and tighten both mounting clamp bolts under load.
