Attention. The bumper cover is made of epoxy resins. Do not apply force to it and avoid contact with oils.
Removing
1. Fully open the tailgate.
2. Loosen the screws (A) rear bumper mounts (left and right).
3. Loosen the bottom screws (A) rear bumper mounts and clips (IN) (left and right).
4. Remove the lower clips of the rear bumper.
5. Remove the moldings of the rear wheel arches.
6. Remove retaining clips (A) left and right rear fenders.
7. Unscrew the upper screws of the rear bumper (A) (left and right).
8. Remove the rear combined lights.
9. If necessary, remove the license plate.
10. Press forward and then pull to the side to disengage the rear bumper from the side brackets B.
11. Remove the rear fog light, and then disconnect the rear fog light wire connector.
12. Unhook the clips of the rear bumper (A).
13. Disconnect all wire connectors.
14. Remove the rear bumper cover assembly.
Attention. Two people are needed to remove the bumper cover to prevent it from falling.
15. After removing the rear bumper trim, remove the following parts:
- Power storage rear bumper.
- Rear bumper center holder (left and right).
- Side holders of the rear bumper (left and right).
- Rear bumper clips.
- Side brackets A rear bumper (left and right).
- Side brackets B rear bumper (left and right).
- Rear bumper cover assembly.
- Left and right reflectors.
Installation
Installation is made in an order, the return to removal.
Note. After installation, adjust the fit.
Rear bumper - rear fender (A-A): 0.0-1.0mm
Rear bumper - rear wheel arch molding (B-B): 0.5-1.5mm
Rear bumper - reflector (S-S): 0.0-1.0mm
Rear bumper - towing eye cover (D-D): 0.2-1.2mm
Rear bumper - fog lamp lens (HER): 0.2-1.2mm
