
2. Using a screwdriver, carefully pry the old seal out of the seat in the holder.

3. Lubricate the crankshaft journal and the lips of the new oil seal with universal grease. The oil seal is installed using a mandrel, which can be a socket head of the appropriate size or a section of pipe of the appropriate diameter. As a last resort, simply knock the oil seal into the socket with a blunt punch. Make sure that the oil seal fits perpendicularly in the socket.
Attention! The seal has quite hard jaws that are easily damaged, be extremely careful! The seating is carried out no deeper than flush with the back of the holder.
4. Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of dismantling the components.
5. Start the engine and check it for signs of oil leaks.
