Removal
1. Remove the gearbox assembly. See chapter Manual transmission.
2. Remove the clutch housing and driven disc. See chapter Clutch.
3. Remove the flywheel. See section "Cylinder block".
4. Remove the rear oil seal using a screwdriver.
Caution: Do not damage the contact surfaces.
Installation
1. Using a suitable punch (1), press the rear oil seal until it is flush with the mounting surface.

Suitable punch (1): outer diameter 102 mm, inner diameter 90 mm.
Attention:
- Do not touch the grease applied to the seal lip.
- Be careful not to damage the rear oil seal retainer or the crankshaft.
- To avoid burrs and distortion of the seal, press it in at a right angle.
Press the rear oil seal (2) into the holder (3) so that it does not protrude.

2. After this operation, installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
