Before removing fuel line components, perform the following procedures:
- Collect the drained fuel in an explosion-proof container and close it tightly with a lid. Store the container in a safe place.
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
- Always replace O-rings and clamps with new ones.
- When installing fuel lines, do not bend or twist them.
- Do not overtighten the clamps to avoid damaging the hoses.
After connecting the pipelines, check the tightness of the connectors:
- Start the engine, increase the speed and check for leaks in the connectors.
When replacing the fuel filler cap, use only a genuine NISSAN cap. Installing any other cap may cause the MIL to come on.
When the fuel filter indicator comes on, you need to drain the water from the fuel filter.
