The new lamps must be fully compatible with the ones being replaced. When replacing, make sure the contacts are clean and secure.
Doorway lamp
1. Carefully pry and remove the optical element from the lampshade.
2. Pull and remove the lamp.
3. Install the new lamp in reverse order.
Trunk light lamp
4. Open the trunk lid (cargo compartment).
5. Remove the optical element from the lampshade. Pull and remove the lamp.
6. Install the new lamp in reverse order.
