Removal
1. Remove the instrument panel.
2. In the engine compartment, unscrew the coupling and remove the cable from the gearbox.
3. Remove the cable from the brackets and pull it into the engine compartment. Remove the seal if necessary.

Installation
The cable is installed in the reverse order. On some cars, the speedometer cable casing has installation marks that are aligned with the bracket during installation.
