In sport mode
1. Move the selector lever to the "P" position and turn the ignition key to the "ON" position (without starting the engine).
2. Make sure that the selector lever can be moved to positions other than "P" when the brake pedal is depressed. Also make sure that the selector lever can be moved from the "P" position only when the brake pedal is depressed.
3. Move the selector lever and check whether there is excessive force, binding, knocking or rattling.
4. Make sure that the selector lever locks in each position when moved. Check that the current position of the selector lever matches the position of the gear range indicator and the position of the range shift lever on the gearbox.
5. The method of moving the selector lever to individual positions is shown in the figure.

The selector lever can be moved without pressing the button.
6. Check if the button sticks when pressed in the position "P", "R", "N" or "D" without moving the selector lever forward or backward.
7. Check that the reversing lights come on only when the selector lever is moved to the "R" position. Check that the reversing lights do not come on when the selector lever is moved toward the "R" position while the gear range remains in the "P" or "N" position.
8. Make sure that the engine can only be started from positions "P" and "N".
9. Make sure that in the "P" position the gearbox is completely locked.
Adjusting the CVT position
1. Move the selector lever to position "P".
Caution: Turn the wheels more than 1-4 revolutions and engage the parking mechanism.
2. Loosen the nut (A) and move the range shift lever (b) to the "P" position.
Caution: Do not apply force to the range shift lever.
3. Tighten the nut. See below.
Caution: When tightening, lock the range shift lever.
In manual mode
1. Move the selector lever to the "P" position and turn the ignition key to the "ON" position (without starting the engine).
2. Make sure that when you press the brake pedal, the selector lever can be moved to positions other than "P". Also make sure that the selector lever can be moved from the "P" position - only when you press the brake pedal.
3. Move the selector lever, check whether you have to apply excessive force, whether there is any sticking, knocking or rattling.
4. Make sure that the selector lever locks in each position when moved. Check that the current position of the selector lever matches the position of the gear range indicator and the position of the range shift lever on the gearbox.
