Removal and installation
To remove the clutch release bearing, pull out the holders.
To remove the clutch release fork, knock out the spring pins by aligning them with the notches in the clutch housing.
Examination
Check and, if necessary, replace the following aircraft:
Clutch release bearing. It should rotate freely, without noise, without cracks, pitting or visible wear.
Clutch release lever and fork. Friction surfaces must be free of visible wear, corrosion and damage.
Lubricant
Apply the recommended grease to the contact and friction surfaces.
Too much grease can damage the friction linings of the clutch disc.
