Disassembly and assembly
When removing and installing the set screw, press the piston into the cylinder with a screwdriver.
When installing the lock screw, align the screw with the slot in the piston.
Observe the correct orientation of the piston o-rings.
Examination
Check and, if necessary, replace the following parts:
- Cylinder and piston. They must not show uneven wear, corrosion or damage.
- Piston with sealing rings. They must show no visible wear or damage.
- return spring. It should show no visible wear or damage.
- Protective cap. It must not be cracked, deformed or damaged.
- Tank. It must not be deformed or damaged.
