Wheel studs — replacement (Nissan Terrano 1)

1. Raise the vehicle.

2. Remove the wheel.

3. Remove the brake caliper and disc:

4. On the front wheels, separate the hub from the disc.

5. Screw the nut onto the stud and press out the stud using a puller (set the pin to the 5 or 7 o'clock position).

6. Unscrew the nut and remove the stud.

7. Insert the new pin so that the teeth align with the teeth in the hole.

8. Put on 4 washers, screw the nut onto the stud.

9. Tighten the nut so that the stud rests against the rear of the hub, unscrew the nut and remove the washers.

10. Install all parts in reverse order. Install the wheel and lower the car.
