Attention! It is recommended to change the distributor cap together with the spark plugs.
44.1 Distributor cover screws
1. Disconnect the ignition coil wire, unscrew the screws (or disconnect the latches) and remove the lid (photo). Carefully move the lid to the side.
2. Check the condition of the runner (photo). If any defects are found, replace the runner by removing it from the rotor (or unscrew the bolt) and install a new one (photo).

1. Loss of elasticity of the spring contact; 2. Cracks; 3. Damage due to contact with the cover.; 4. Corrosion

1. Cluster of sockets for the wire; 2. Erosion of conclusions; 3. Wear of the coal; 4.5. Breakthrough trace; 6. Cracks
2. Place the cover on and tighten the screws.
3. Check the condition of the wires of the switch built into the distributor.
4. Inspect the lid, check for cracks or signs of puncture on the inside (thin burnt-out paths), as well as wear, burning and weakening of contacts (photo). If you find the slightest signs of a questionable condition, replace the cover.
