1. The condition of high-voltage wires is checked without fail when replacing spark plugs with new ones.
2. High voltage wires should be inspected separately.
3. Carefully disconnect the wire from the spark plug (see above).
4. Inspect the inside of the tip and check for corrosion in the form of a light powder coating. Check the tightness of the tip to the candle, if necessary, bend the collets of the cartridge.
5. Gently wipe the wire along the entire length with a clean rag, removing all deposits of dirt and oil, check the condition of the wire.
6. Disconnect a wire from a cover of the distributor of ignition, having pulled for a rubber boot. Check for corrosion and tightness of the wire, put the wire in place.
7. If necessary, replace the wires as a set (ready-made wires of selected lengths with installed lugs are available for sale).
