2. Disconnect the battery from ground and remove the ignition distributor.
3. Loosen the belt tensioner bolt on the compressor pulley, turn the adjusting bolt and remove the belt (photo).

4. Disconnect the main pipes from the compressor (photo).

5. Disconnect all wires from the compressor.
6. Loosen the bolts and remove the compressor from the bracket (photo).

7. Remove the compressor from the compartment.
Attention! To avoid damage, the compressor operating position should not be disturbed for more than 10 minutes. If the normal position is disturbed, set the compressor to the operating position and rotate the shaft several times.
8. Installation is performed in reverse order. When connecting the tubes, replace the sealing rings. Fill the air conditioner at a car service center.
