Removal
1. Disconnect the battery from ground, remove the air filter.
2. Raise the vehicle and place it on stands.
3. Disconnect the front exhaust pipe from the manifold.
Removal the right manifold
4. Remove the heat shields (photo).

5. Unscrew the manifold nuts (photo).
8.5 Sequence of loosening exhaust manifold nuts

6. Lift the rear of the manifold and remove the manifold.
Left manifold
7. Unscrew the heat shield bolts (photo).

1. Recirculation tube

8. Disconnect the recirculation tube.
9. Working from below, unscrew three nuts at the top and bottom and disconnect the exhaust pipe (photo 8.5).
10. Remove the manifold from the engine compartment.
Installation
11. Clean the manifold from any remaining sealant.
12. Install a new gasket on the cylinder head. Tighten the bolts and nuts in the sequence shown (photo).

13. The remaining operations are performed in reverse order.
