Exhaust manifold on cars with a catalytic converter
1. Hot air extraction hose; 2. Recirculation tube; 3. Exhaust gas sensor connector; 4. Exhaust gas sampling pipe
Removal
1. Disconnect from the manifold and remove the hose.
2. On vehicles with a catalytic converter, disconnect the exhaust gas sensor wires.
3. Unscrew the fittings and disconnect all tubes from the manifold.
4. Loosen the bolts and remove the manifold casing.
5. Apply the handbrake and raise the front of the car.
6. Unscrew the nuts and bolt and remove the exhaust pipe, remove the gasket.
7. Loosen the nuts and bolts securing the exhaust manifold to the cylinder head, remove the manifold from the studs, and remove the gaskets.
Installation
1. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
2. Before assembly, replace all gaskets, thoroughly clean the separating surfaces, replace or repair damaged studs.
3. Tighten the bolts and nuts with a torque wrench.
