2. Turn on the ignition and press the throttle pedal all the way down - a characteristic click should be heard.
3. If there is no click, then loosen the locknut (the switch is mounted above the pedal), fully depress the pedal and move the switch until it clicks (when resting on the pin).

4. Tighten locknut and check adjustment.
5. If the switch is adjusted, but downshifting does not occur, then check the closure of the switch contacts and the presence of voltage on it.
6. If voltage is present and the contacts close, then contact a car service to check the switch circuit and electromagnetic drive.
