Rear oil seal of automatic transmission — replacement (Nissan Terrano 1)

1. Remove the axle shaft (Chapter 8). On all-wheel drive vehicles, remove the transfer case (Chapter 9).

2. Carefully pry up with a screwdriver and remove the seal (photo).



3. Lubricate the outer and working edges of the new seal and press it in using a mandrel of a suitable diameter (photo).



4. Further operations are performed in reverse order.
