2. Remove the wheel.
3. Remove the caliper (Ch. 10) and take it aside.
4. Remove the axle shaft.
5. Loosen the tie rod end nut and press the ball pin of the end out of the steering knuckle eye.

6. Remove the knuckle assembly with the supports. To do this, lift the lower arm with a jack. Unscrew the bolts securing the supports to the arms (photo).

7. Remove the knuckle. If necessary, loosen the nuts and press the bearings out of the knuckle using a puller. Leave the nuts screwed onto the bearing pins.
8. Assembly is performed in the reverse order. Adjust the axle play (see above).
