Before removing the throttle cable, it is necessary to accurately mark the position of the adjusting nut. If the nut is in the same position during installation, the throttle valve will open and close completely. Check that the throttle valve is fully open when the gas pedal is depressed and returns to the idle position when the gas pedal is released. If necessary, replace the throttle cable:
1. Disconnect the throttle cable from the lever on the gas pedal.
2. Loosen both nuts on the throttle cable retainer (see illustration), so that the cable can be removed. Turn the throttle segment against the spring force and disconnect the end of the cable from the throttle segment.

3. Remove the cable fastening at the end of the engine compartment and remove the cable from the engine compartment side.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Adjust the cable as follows:
4. Tighten the cable adjustment nut, i.e. the nut furthest from the throttle segment, until the segment begins to move.
5. From this position, turn the adjusting nut back 1.5-2 turns and tighten the lock nut on the opposite side of the counter support.
6. Press the gas pedal and check if the throttle valve opens fully.
