Before screwing the flywheel back on, check its runout. This is done using a dial indicator as shown in the illustration.

When turning the handwheel slowly, the indicator needle should not move more than 0.2 mm. Otherwise, the flywheel must be replaced, since the deformed friction surface has a negative effect on the operation of the clutch. When ordering a new flywheel, be sure to specify the engine power, as not all models have the same flywheels. Tighten the flywheel bolts evenly to 83-93 Nm.
