Clutch shaft guide bearing (Nissan Primera P10)

The pilot bearing on the inside of the flywheel can be checked in the installed condition by inserting your index finger into the bearing and rotating it from side to side while moving it back and forth.

If there is binding or excessive play, the bearing can be replaced. It is best to use a sliding hammer to remove the bearing. The flywheel can be installed or removed. Place a suitable adapter under the inner race of the bearing and place a sliding hammer on the adapter. Knock out the bearing. Hammer the new bearing into the flywheel until it is flush with the outside of the flywheel.
