Caution: To avoid burns, do not drain engine oil from a hot engine.
1. Remove the engine protective pan.
2. Remove the right front wheel.
3. Remove the right side splash guard.
4. Loosen the multifunctional bracket mounting bolt shown in the figure.

5. Remove the three bolts of the catalytic converter bracket.
6. Remove the oil level sensor.
7. Drain the engine oil.
Caution: Drain the oil after the engine has cooled down.
8. Loosen the connecting bolts of the oil pan and gearbox.

9. Support the bottom of the oil pan with a transmission jack.

10. Loosen the oil pan bolts in the reverse order to that shown in the figure.

11. Insert the cutter (special tool) between the oil pan and the cylinder block.
Move the cutter by tapping it with a hammer.
Caution: Be careful not to damage the contact surfaces.

12. Remove the oil pan with the defoamer.
