1. Apply sealant as shown in the figure.
Note: Use genuine Nissan sealant or equivalent.
2. Install the defoamer.
3. Install the oil pan:
Tighten the bolts securing the oil pan to the clutch housing.
Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown in the figure to a torque of 14 Nm.
Tighten the oil pan to clutch housing mounting bolts to 44 Nm.
4. After at least 30 minutes from installing the oil pan, pour engine oil into the engine.
Post-installation check
Check the engine oil level.
Start the engine and check for oil leaks.
