Precautionary measures
Do not operate the power folding door mirrors manually. If you do fold/unfold the mirrors manually, press the switch and move the mirror all the way in the opposite direction until it stops. In this case, a loud click will be heard, but this does not indicate a malfunction. (If the mirror housing is moved to the neutral position manually, some abnormalities will occur in the operation of the door mirror, which will be evident when driving, such as vibration, uneven movement when folding, and sometimes failure to fold).
Attention:
Do not tilt the mirror housing forward with excessive force, otherwise it may be damaged.
When moving the mirror using the switch from the neutral position to the fully folded position, you will hear a slight click at the beginning of the movement, but this does not indicate a malfunction.
The left and right side electrically operated folding door mirror housings have different installation angles in the neutral position. Therefore, when the switch is operated, the right side mirror is slightly delayed.
Note:
If you push the mirror housing forward from the neutral position by hand while pressing the switch in the direction of mirror deployment, the mirror housing will move to the deployed position in the forward direction, which does not indicate a malfunction. In this case, press the switch in the direction of mirror folding and move the mirrors to the fully folded position.
If you continuously press the switch 5 times or more, the power folding door mirror may turn off to prevent overheating. In this case, wait about 5 minutes until the mirrors resume operation.
