Removal
1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
2. Disconnect the intermediate wiring connector of the air conditioner compressor and generator, unscrew the fastening nut of terminal B.
3. Remove the intermediate wiring connector bracket from the generator.
4. Loosen the screws, remove the clamps and remove the engine protection from the bottom side.
5. Loosen the generator mounting bolts and nuts.
6. Loosen the alternator belt tension using the adjusting bolt and remove the belt.
7. Loosen the air conditioning compressor mounting bolts and move it so that it does not interfere with operation.
8. Unscrew the generator mounting bolts and nuts and the lock bolt. Remove the generator from the underside of the vehicle.
Installation
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following: After installing the generator, adjust the belt tension.
Caution: Be especially careful to tighten the B terminal fixing nut.
