Removal
1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
2. Disconnect the intermediate wiring connector of the air conditioner compressor and generator, unscrew the fastening nut of terminal B.
3. Remove the intermediate wiring connector bracket from the generator.
4. Remove the engine compartment electrical wiring clamp from the adjustment bracket and hang it so that it does not interfere with work.
5. Loosen the generator mounting bolts and nuts.
6. Loosen the alternator belt tension using the adjusting bolt and remove the belt.
7. Unscrew the generator mounting bolts and nuts.
8. Unscrew the adjusting bolt and remove its bracket.
9. Loosen the adjusting bracket mounting bolt.
10. Lift the generator and remove it from the vehicle.
Installation
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal, taking into account the following: After installing the generator, adjust the belt tension.
Caution: Be especially careful to tighten the B terminal fixing nut.
