Connector designations

How to use indexes (coordinate system)
To quickly locate connectors, the following diagrams use a grid similar to a map:
- 1. Find the number of the required connector in the list of connectors.
- 2. Find the index.
- 3. Find the cell where the letter intersects on the drawing (vertically) and numbers (horizontally).
- 4. Find the connector number in the intersection cell.
- 5. Follow the line to the connector (if any).

Index table (coordinates of components on diagrams)

Using the example of the ABS actuator mentioned above, the method for finding this component on the electrical circuit is shown below.
- 1. The name of the connector A-61 indicates its location in the engine compartment.
- 2. In the wiring diagram 1 (1)-(3), the connector is in column B. Moreover, the connector is shown in column B in all diagrams 1 (1)-(3).
- 3. On the schematic diagram, the connector is located on diagram C-2 in the square with coordinate B1.
- 4. On the electrical connection diagram, the connector is located on the W-2 diagram in the square with coordinate B2.

Schematic diagrams
These diagrams show components and their electrical connections in a simplified form. These diagrams allow you to trace current flow paths and find faulty components.
The display of electrical connections on the diagrams differs from the real ones (by car).

Electrical connection diagrams
Electrical connection diagrams are used when it is necessary to know the actual location of electrical wiring, contacts in connectors, wire colors, etc.
