Removal
1. Remove the cylinder head.
2. Remove the camshaft.
Attention! If old parts of the distribution mechanism are to be installed, they should be installed in the old places. In order not to mix up the parts, it is recommended to prepare a special place for laying out the parts.
3. Remove the plate tappets and arrange them according to the installation position.

4. Remove the valve springs. To remove the conical crackers and at the same time the valves with springs, use a special valve spring presser.
5. Compress the valve springs and remove the cone crackers.
6. Loosen and remove the valve lifter.
7. Remove the valve.
8. Remove the upper spring plate, springs and lower spring plates.
9. Remove the valve stem oil seals.
Installation
1. If old valves and an old cylinder head are being installed, check the valve guides before assembly.
2. If new valves are installed in an old head, the valve seats in the cylinder head should be machined and the valves should be ground in.
3. Clean the valves from any remaining carbon deposits using a scraper and wire brush.
4. Lubricate all tappets with engine oil and insert into the appropriate holes.
5. Install the camshaft.
6. Replace the cylinder head gasket, install the cylinder head.
7. Adjust valve clearance if necessary.
