The air conditioner is designed to cool and dehumidify the air in the cabin.
The air conditioner consists of a belt driven compressor, condenser, expansion valve, evaporator and pipes.
The air conditioning evaporator is located next to the heater, the air from the evaporator is mixed with heated air for maximum comfort.
On vehicles with and without air conditioning, the design of the heater is the same.
The system is equipped with automatic control and is serviced only in a car service.
It is forbidden to depressurize the air conditioning system on your own in order to avoid frostbite and fire.
Do not operate the air conditioner with insufficient refrigerant charge.
The only maintenance operation of the air conditioner, performed independently, is the replacement of the compressor belt (see subsection 2.3.1.1).
