Accelerator cable — removal and installation (Nissan Bluebird T12)

1. Remove the air filter (Chapter 3).

2. Release the wiring from the cable bracket on the carburetor side.

3. Unscrew the mounting nuts and remove the cable casing from the suspension.

4. Release the inner cable from the throttle pulley.

5. Inside the vehicle, disconnect the inner cable from the top of the pedal.

6. Remove the plastic washer and pull the cable out of the bulkhead into the engine compartment.

7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Check the pedal height and adjust the cable (Chapter 12).
