WARNINGS:
- Do not attempt to disassemble the belt tensioners.
- Do not drop or subject the tensioners to impact. This may cause them to operate.
- Replace tensioners that show visible signs of damage.
- Do not expose tensioners to temperatures above 80°C.
- Before removing the tensioner, rotate the locking lever upwards, then forward 10° and hook it onto the retractor lug. Do not unlock the tensioner until it is reinstalled.
- When installing a new tensioner, remove the locking lever retainer. Not removing the retainer will interfere with installation.
Operation numbers correspond to part numbers in the figure.
1. Remove the front seat.
2. Loosen the lower seat belt mounting bolt.
3. Remove the regulator cover.
4. Loosen the belt bracket mounting bolt.
5. Remove the upper and lower center pillar trims.
6. Remove the belt guide.
7. Remove the bolt securing the tensioner retractor, then remove the belt and retractor.

8. To remove the belt adjuster, use a screwdriver to pry off its cover, then unscrew the two mounting bolts.

Installation is carried out in reverse order.
