WARNINGS:
- Do not attempt to disassemble the belt tensioners.
- Do not drop or subject tensioners to impacts. This may cause them to work.
- Replace tensioners that show visible signs of damage.
- Do not expose tensioners to temperatures above 80°C.
- Before removing the tensioner, turn the lock lever up, then forward 10°and hook it onto the retractor lug. Do not unlock the tensioner before it is in place.
- When installing a new tensioner, remove the lock lever lock. A latch that is not removed will interfere with installation.
The operation numbers correspond to the part numbers in the figure.
1. Remove the front seat.
2. Turn away the bottom bolt of fastening of a seat belt.
3. Remove the regulator cover.
4. Turn away a bolt of fastening of a bracket of a belt.
5. Remove the upper and lower lining of the central pillar.
6. Remove the belt guide.
7. Turn away a bolt, a heeling retractor of a tensioner, then remove a belt and a retractor.
8. To remove the belt adjuster, pry with a screwdriver and remove its cover, then unscrew the two mounting bolts.
Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
