WARNINGS:
- Before working on the security system, turn off the ignition, disconnect both cables from the battery and wait at least 10 minutes.
- Work from the side or below the airbag.
- Special bolts are coated with a fixing compound. Replace them with new ones after unscrewing.
- Position the airbag module with the trim panel facing up.
1. Open the glove compartment lid.
2. Disconnect the airbag module connector.
3. Remove the glove box (see chapter "Body").
4. Unscrew the nuts and special bolts using a Torx head of size T50 with a central hole.
Remove the airbag module from the instrument panel.
The airbag module is quite heavy and must be supported with both hands.
