WARNINGS:
- Before working on the security system, turn off the ignition, disconnect both cables from the battery and wait at least 10 minutes.
- Work from the side of the airbag.
- Replace the control unit if it has been dropped or subjected to impact.
- Special bolts are coated with a fixing compound, another bolt is used for connection to the ground. After removing the block, replace the bolts.
1. Disconnect the driver and passenger airbag connectors and the seat belt tensioner connector,
2. Remove the rear console box (see chapter "Body").
3. Disconnect the control unit connector.
4. Unscrew the ground bolt, then unscrew the special bolts using a T50 Torx head with a center hole. Then remove the control unit.
Installation is carried out in reverse order.
After replacing the control unit, perform the self-diagnosis procedure.
