Removal
1. Disconnect the battery from ground.
2. Remove the front instrument panel trim panel (see subsection 13.26).
3. Pull the control unit towards you and disconnect the wiring connectors.
4. Disconnect the thermostat cable from the lever and remove the control unit.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order; during assembly, move the thermostat and mixing valve levers to the maximum heat output position and connect the thermostat cable.
