Attention.
- Before servicing the hydraulic electronic control unit, disconnect the wires from the battery.
- To remove the brake lines, use a socket wrench to prevent damage to the connecting nuts and brake lines.
- Tighten the connecting nuts to the specified tightening torque.
- Do not subject the hydraulic control unit to impacts, in particular do not drop it.
- Do not remove or install the electronic control unit by holding it by the wires.
Note.
- After work, remove air from the brake system.
- After connecting the wire connectors, make sure that they are securely fastened.
1. Remove the upper hood trim.
2. Remove the exhaust manifold.
3. Disconnect the hydraulic electronic control unit connector.
4. Loosen the connecting nuts of the brake pipes and disconnect the pipes from the hydraulic electronic control unit.
5. Loosen the ABS electronic control unit bracket mounting nut.
6. Remove the ABS electronic control unit from the vehicle.
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
