Attention.
- When removing the sensor, if possible, do not rotate it and do not pull the sensor by the wire.
- Be careful not to damage the edges of the sensor or the teeth of the impulse disc. Before removing the front or rear wheel hub, remove the wheel speed sensor to avoid damaging the sensor wiring.
When installing the sensors, tighten the bolts to the specified tightening torque.
Observe the following conditions:
- Check the inside of the sensor mounting hole for clogging, the surface of the rotor for iron filings and other foreign matter. If any deviations are found, clean or replace defective parts with new ones.
- When installing the front sensor, fully push the rubber grommets into the strut bracket and bracket body until they are fixed so that the sensor wire is not twisted. In addition, there should be no kinks in the installed wire. Install the wire so that the painted part of it comes out of the car.
- When installing the rear sensor, fully push in the rubber bracket of the suspension arm bracket and fix the marked area of the side harness holder so that the sensor wire is not twisted. In addition, there should be no kinks in the installed wire.
