Attention.
- Use only a vacuum cleaner to clean the brake caliper and brake pads. Do not use compressed air.
- Do not depress the brake pedal with the brake pads removed as this may cause the brake fluid to leak out.
Removing
1. Remove the wheel from the car.
2. Fix the brake disc with wheel nuts.
3. Drain the brake fluid.
Attention. Avoid getting brake fluid on the brake disc.
4. Loosen the connecting bolt (1) and disconnect the brake hose (2) from the caliper assembly.
5. To turn away bolts of fastening of a bracket of a support and to remove a support in gathering.
Attention. Do not drop the brake pads and caliper assembly.
6. Remove the brake disc.
Note. Mark the wheel hub with bearing assembly and brake disc before removing.
Attention. Do not drop the brake disc.
Installation
1. Install the brake disc in its original position, aligning the alignment marks made during removal.
2. Install the brake caliper assembly to the vehicle and tighten the caliper bracket bolts to the specified torque.
Attention. Do not allow grease or solvent to come into contact with brake caliper mounting surfaces, threads, bolts and mounting washers. If necessary, remove all contaminants.
3. Connect the brake hose to the brake caliper assembly and tighten the connecting bolt to the specified torque.
4. Fill the expansion tank with fresh brake fluid and bleed air from the system.
Attention.
- Do not reuse drained brake fluid.
- Avoid getting brake fluid on the brake disc.
5. Make sure there is no jamming when rotating the front brake disc.
6. Install the wheel on the car.
