Note: To adjust the parking brake, the rear wheels must be removed from the vehicle.
1. Secure the brake discs with wheel nuts.
2. Remove the cover from the center console.
3. Release the parking brake lever by turning the adjusting nut (1) with a socket wrench of sufficient length. Loosen the drive cable.

4. Remove the adjustment hole plug from the brake disc. Using a screwdriver, turn the adjuster (1) in direction (A) as shown in the figure until the brake disc is completely locked.

5. Turn the regulator from the lock position in the opposite direction by 7 notches.
6. Rotate the brake disc to ensure that there is no jamming. Install the plug of the adjustment hole.
Note: Repeat the described procedure on the other side of the vehicle.
7. Adjust the parking brake cable as follows:
- Tighten the parking brake lever with a force of 294 N (30 kg) at least 10 times.
- Adjust the travel of the parking brake lever by turning the adjusting nut with a socket wrench of sufficient length.
Caution: If the adjusting nut is removed, do not reuse it.
Tighten the parking brake lever with a force of 196 N (20 kgf). Make sure that the lever (pedal) stroke is 7-8 ratchet clicks.
Turn the brake disc with the parking brake lever released to ensure that there is no binding.
Checking after adjustment
Rotate the brake disc to ensure that there is no sticking.
