
2. Press the foot brake pedal at least 10 times and adjust the clearance in the rear wheel pads.
Note: Press the foot brake pedal all the way down.
3. Check if the brakes are sticking by turning the rear wheels.

4. Adjust the cable as shown below.
- a. Tighten the lever so that the long head can be inserted.
- b. Insert the long head into the lever opening and adjust the tightening force of the lever by turning the adjusting nut.
Note: Do not reuse the adjusting nut.

- c. Check the number of clicks by tightening the lever about 10 times with a force of 196 N (20 kg).
- d. Check if the rear wheel brakes are dragging when the lever is fully released.
5. Check whether the brake system indicator lamp in the instrument cluster comes on when the parking brake is applied 1 click or less and goes out when the lever is released.
6. Check whether the ratchet engages and disengages securely and freely.
7. Check that the initial free play of the lever at the end of the release button does not exceed 20 mm and ensure that the operating force on the release button is 4.9 N (0.50 kg) at full stroke length.
