Removing
1. Remove the wheels from the vehicle.
2. Drain the brake fluid. See section «Drain and refill».
3. Turn off connecting bolts and fixing bolts of an arm of a support and remove a brake support in gathering.
Installation
Attention:
- Fill with fresh Nissan Genuine Brake Fluid or «DOT 3» or «DOT 4» (US FMVSS No.116).
- Do not mix different brands of brake fluid («DOT 3», «DOT 4»).
- Do not reuse drained brake fluid.
1. Install the brake caliper assembly to the vehicle and tighten the mounting bolts to the correct torque.
Caution: Before installing the caliper assembly, wipe off oil and grease from the seating surfaces of the nuts and washers and the caliper assembly.
2. Connect a brake hose to a support in gathering and tighten connecting bolts with the demanded moment.
Attention:
- Do not reuse the copper washers of the connecting bolts.
- Firmly connect the brake hose to the mounting hole on the cylinder body.
3. Fill in with fresh brake fluid. See section «Drain and refill».
4. Remove air. See section «Bleeding the brake system».
