Vacuum hose
Attention:
- Since the vacuum hose has a built-in stop valve, it must be installed in the correct direction. Refer to the marking. If the hose is not connected correctly, the brake booster will not function properly.
- Insert the vacuum hose to a depth of at least 24 mm.
- Do not use lubricating oil during assembly.

Examination
Visual inspection
Check if the assembly is correct and there is no damage or wear.
Checking the check valve
Checking for leaks
Perform a check using a hand vacuum pump.
When connecting from the amplifier side (1): The vacuum reduction should be about 1.3 kPa (10 mm Hg.) within 15 seconds at a vacuum of -66.7 kPa (-500 mmHg.).
When connecting from the engine side (2): There should be no vacuum.
