Brake Booster — On-Car Service — Leak Test (Nissan Note E11)

Start the engine and turn it off after one or two minutes. Slowly press the brake pedal several times. If the pedal drops lowest after the first press and gradually rises after the second and third press, the booster is sealed.



Press the brake pedal with the engine running and turn off the engine with the pedal depressed. If after holding the pedal depressed for 30 seconds there is no change in the pedal stroke, the booster is sealed.
