Removal
1. Drain the brake fluid. See section "Draining and filling".
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the brake fluid level sensor.
3. Disconnect the hose from the clutch reservoir (on models with manual transmission).
4. Using a spanner, disconnect the brake pipe from the master cylinder assembly.
5. First, loosen the nuts on the master cylinder assembly, and then remove the master cylinder assembly from the brake booster.

Installation
1. Connect the brake pipe to the master cylinder assembly and tighten the union nuts by hand.
2. Install the master cylinder assembly onto the brake booster assembly and tighten the mounting nuts to the specified torque.
Tightening torque: 14 Nm (1.4 kg·m)
3. Tighten the brake pipe union nuts to the specified torque.
Tightening torque: 16.2 Nm (1.7 kg·m)
4. Connect the hose to the clutch reservoir (on models with manual transmission).
5. Fill with fresh brake fluid. See section "Draining and filling".
6. Remove air. See section "Bleeding the brake system".
