Attention:
- Fill with fresh Nissan Genuine Brake Fluid or "DOT 3" or "DOT 4" (US FMVSS No.116).
- Do not mix brake fluid of different brands ("DOT 3", "DOT 4").
- Do not reuse drained brake fluid.
- Do not spill brake fluid on painted areas; it may cause damage to the paintwork. If brake fluid spills on painted areas, wipe it off immediately and rinse with water.
1. Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position and disconnect the connector from the ABS actuator.
2. Connect the vinyl tube to the bleed nipple.
3. Press the brake pedal, loosen the bleed screw and gradually drain the brake fluid.
4. Make sure there are no foreign particles in the reservoir and fill it with fresh brake fluid.
5. Place your foot on the brake pedal. Loosen the bleed screw. Slowly press the brake pedal until it stops. Tighten the bleed screw. Release the brake pedal. Repeat this operation several times, then pause to add fresh brake fluid to the master cylinder. Continue until fresh brake fluid begins to flow out. Release the air.
