Brake and clutch fluid (Nissan Almera N15)

The fluid level is checked in the appropriate reservoirs. If the level is below the MIN mark, or if the brake system indicator light is on, it is necessary to add DOT 3 or DOT 4 fluid up to the MAX mark. If it is necessary to frequently add brake fluid, contact your Nissan dealer for a thorough inspection of the entire brake and clutch system.

• It is recommended that you have your Nissan dealer change the fluid and check the brake system. These operations require the correct brake fluid and some technical knowledge.
• Use only new fluid. Old, low-quality, contaminated or unsuitable fluid can cause damage to the brake and clutch systems and increase the vehicle's stopping distance.
• To avoid damage to the paintwork, do not allow brake fluid to come into contact with it. Wash off any liquid spilled on the painted surface with water.
