CAREFULLY! First of all, make sure the engine and ignition are off and the car is held securely in place by the parking brake.
ATTENTION! To avoid damage to the structure of the candle, it is allowed to unscrew them only with a special candle wrench.
1. Remove mounting brackets to access high voltage cables and spark plugs.
2. Disconnect the cables from the spark plugs. When disconnecting a cable, hold it by the connector and never pull on the cable itself. Label all cables according to their original positions.
3. Remove the spark plugs using a spark plug wrench. The spark plug wrench has a rubber gasket that grabs the spark plug and prevents it from falling out after unscrewing. Therefore, before unscrewing, properly fit the key on the candle.
4. On conventional spark plugs, check the gap between the electrodes before installing (the required clearance is indicated in chapter "Technical information"). Adjust the clearance if necessary.
5. Insert new spark plugs, one at a time, into the spark plug socket and install in the hole. Tighten each spark plug by hand a few full turns, then tighten with a wrench to the specified torque. Do not overtighten. Spark plug tightening torque 20-29 Nm (2-3 kgf·m).
6. Holding the connector, connect each high voltage cable to the corresponding spark plug by pushing in until it clicks into place.
7. Reinstall the mounting brackets.
