Headlights
The headlight is an optical focusing element based on a replaceable halogen lamp. The headlight housing is sealed. The lamp is replaced from inside the engine compartment, which allows this to be done without removing the external structure of the headlight.

ATTENTION! The halogen lamp contains gas under high pressure. The lamp may explode if the glass bulb is scratched or subjected to minor mechanical impact. Do not touch the glass bulb when working with the lamp.
Replacing the lamp
1. Open the engine hood.
2. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the lamp base.
4. Turn the safety cap counterclockwise and pull it out.
5. Tighten the rubber ring.
6. Press and turn the locking neck.
7. Remove the lamp. Do not shake or throw it.
8. Install the new lamp in reverse order.
ATTENTION!
- The rubber ring should fit snugly onto the headlight housing.
- The new lamp must have the same number and wattage as the one originally installed.
- The power is 60/56.
- After replacing the bulb, headlight adjustment is not necessary. If adjustment is still required, contact your Nissan dealer.
- Do not remove the lamp from the reflector for a long time. Dust, moisture and soot may get inside the headlight, which will affect the performance of the headlight.
