1) cleaning
If paste or other sticky substances get on the windshield or brushes, the operation of the wiper deteriorates, and the brushes begin to rattle. To restore normal operation, it is necessary to clean the glass and brushes.
Wash the windshield with a mild soapy solution or windshield wiper fluid. Glass is considered clean if it does not form drops when poured with clean water.
The brushes are cleaned with a cloth soaked in windshield wiper fluid or a mild soapy solution and finally doused with clean water. If after this the operation of the windshield wiper is not normal, then the brushes must be replaced.
2) Brush replacement
1. Pull back the wiper handle.
2. Press the lock pin and remove the brush.
3. Insert the new brush into the handle until it clicks into place.
ATTENTION!
- After replacing the brushes, return the wiper handles to their original position. Otherwise, they can be broken when opening the hood.
- Make sure that the brush fits snugly on the glass, otherwise the handle may break from the force of the wind.
When lubricating the hood with protective paste, make sure that the paste does not get into the wiper jet. This can lead to jet clogging and poor wiper performance. If paste gets into the jet, remove it with a needle or pin.
