General and periodic maintenance is the responsibility of the owner. Only the owner of the machine can ensure that timely and appropriate maintenance and care is carried out. It should be remembered that the participation of the owner in the organization of the entire complex of car maintenance is absolutely necessary.
General maintenance
General maintenance refers to those components that need to be checked daily during the operation of the vehicle to maintain its normal technical condition. It is the owner's responsibility to follow the daily care procedures.
General vehicle maintenance can be performed by either the owner or a qualified technician or Nissan dealer.
Periodic maintenance
Periodic maintenance concerns those components that require attention at regular intervals.
Excessive use of the machine may require additional or more frequent maintenance than recommended.
Place of maintenance
For service or if the machine malfunctions, contact an authorized Nissan dealer. Only a Nissan dealer is able to check and adjust all components of your machine.
Nissan technicians are highly qualified and experienced, and keep abreast of all technical developments and improvements through regular and timely information and refresher courses.
Nissan guarantees that your Nissan branch is able to perform the required maintenance in the best, safest and most economical way.
During the daily operation of the machine, it is necessary to carry out regular daily maintenance as described in this section. Should any unusual vibration noises or odors be detected, the cause should be investigated or addressed immediately. to your Nissan dealer. If you think your machine needs to be repaired, you should notify your Nissan dealer.
When carrying out inspections or maintenance work, carefully follow the instructions in this chapter.
Outside the car
Listed below are items that require weekly maintenance unless otherwise noted.
Tires. Check tire pressure (including spare) pressure gauge, for example, at a service station and, if necessary, adjust it to the specified value. Inspect carefully for signs of damage, cuts and excessive wear.
Wiper blades. Inspect for cracks or wear if they start to work poorly.
Doors and hood. Make sure all doors, engine and trunk hood and tailgate work properly and all locks lock properly. Lubricate them as needed. Check that the second lock of the engine hood will keep the hood from opening after the first lock is unlocked.
Check lubrication more frequently when driving on roads treated with road salt or other chemicals.
Tire swap. Tires need to be changed (along with wheels) every 10.000 km.
Inside the car
The items listed below should be checked during activities such as car washing, scheduled maintenance, etc.
Lighting. Make sure headlights, brake lights, tail lights, turn signals, and other lighting fixtures are secure and working properly. Don't forget to check the direction of the headlights.
Control lights and buzzers. Check that all indicator lights and buzzers work properly.
Steering wheel. Watch for steering wheel abnormalities such as excessive play, tight play, or unusual noise.
Seat belts. Make sure that all parts of the seat belts (buckles, fasteners, adjusters and coils) were securely fastened and worked correctly and without failure. Check the webbing of the belts for cuts, abrasions and damage.
Under the hood and body
Below are items that should be checked, for example, together with checking the engine oil level or refueling.

Coolant level. Check the coolant level when the engine is cold.
Engine oil level. Check the oil level after stopping the machine on level ground and with the engine off.
Brake and clutch fluid levels. Make sure that the brake and clutch fluid levels in the reservoir are always between the marks "MAX" And "MIN".
Accumulator battery. Check the electrolyte level in each cell. It must be between the marks "MAX" And "MIN".
